Neoprene (Chloroprene Rubber, CR) offers a balanced, cost-effective profile of weather, ozone and moderate oil/chemical resistance, plus good flame resistance relative to other general-purpose elastomers. FITCO supplies neoprene where a project needs an economical outdoor-rated seal or gasket without FKM-level chemical exposure.

General-purpose CR

The standard neoprene grade for outdoor gaskets, mounts and moderate-oil-exposure sealing — the most economical option when FKM-level chemical resistance isn't required.

Self-extinguishing formulation

Flame-retardant CR

A compound variant formulated for self-extinguishing flame performance, specified for cable/conduit seals and enclosures with fire-safety requirements beyond standard neoprene.
